We’ve Gotta Stop Meeting Like This…

This is so embarrassing.

I mean, it’s not that I’m not happy to see you, because I am.

It’s just… well, to be frank, I feel a little silly to be honest with you.

You see… this is my third blogging attempt. Prior to this I had two other blogs, but as you can guess, they didn’t quite work out. Yep, two attempts, which both ended in failure.

I started originally about 6 years ago with a blog called The Left-handed Author. Here’s the thing… I’m not left handed, not even a little bit. The whole idea of naming the blog the left-handed author had to do with telling stories, and fiction writing, and fiction being made up stories, and made up stories basically being lies so me being left handed was a lie that was like a story, that was like an alter ego, that was like a pen name that was like… like… like I said, embarrassing.

Left Handed Author lasted from about 2011 to 2014. A year later I gave it another go with a blog called the Ink Spider, that lasted all of 6 months… I know, I know, I’m so ashamed. I have no excuse. Truth is, one of the few things that I have mastered in this life is being inconsistent. But no more, No more I say!

Which brings us to where we are today. Blog number 3, and a poor excuse for a blog at that. Yet, be that as it may, it is here, and I am here and you are here, so we might as well have a good time. This blog much like the blogs of the past is all about chronicling my adventures as an aspiring author as I attempt to finish, publish and market my first novel, all while completing some short stories and sharpening my overall writing skills along the way.

So… that’s what you signed up for and if you think you are still interested knowing all of my many shortcoming and past failures, I would be delighted if you would join me as I nosedive another perfectly good blog into the side of a mountain!

Buckle In!
